We’re looking for a writing coordinator to join Free Agency’s content team, responsible for writing, editing, and coordinating content that we craft to fuel the careers of senior leaders in tech. You’ll work closely with 2 content teammates and 20+ freelance writers in an effort to contribute to the drafting, scheduling, and delivery of work. This role is a blend of writing and operations, giving this individual an opportunity to develop in both skill sets and double down over time on the career path of their choice.

This role is a great opportunity for a writer with 2-3 years of professional experience looking to join a fast-paced, high-growth tech startup in the heart of NYC. You’ll learn all about the startups, roles, VCs, and power players that fuel the tech industry, and become an expert in how to tell and sell their stories.

You will:

  • Partner with 2 Junior Content Managers on writing content pertaining to client services, including thought leadership, job search content, and internal branded materials.
  • Coordinate 20+ freelance writers; act as a key point of contact for assignment scheduling for creative assignments; provide feedback both live and asynchronously.
  • Write and edit documents for clients, including resumes, cover letters, blogs, investor emails, event descriptions, client and company outreach, and web copy.
  • Partner with Talent Agents and Operations team members on client projects and requests, developing new workflows to hasten the speed of content delivery and improve overall content quality.
  • Create and maintain workflows related to content versioning, data management, team permissions, and client access, including ad hoc tasks related to on-demand content projects.

You should:

  • Be a strong communicator across written and verbal contexts, both for client and internal audiences.
  • Be a self-motivated organizer, as you'll be working across multiple priorities and timelines at all times, including those of the freelancers that you'll be coordinating.

The compensation for this role is $70,000 - $90,000 in base salary, depending on years of relevant experience, + equity.
