Sr UX Writer

Collaborate closely with designers to craft seamless digital customer experiences

Write clear, accurate and compelling user interface copy

Collaborate with project partners and Experience Strategy team to determine the business objectives that drive content strategy

Make recommendations on user requirements for projects and contribute to project scoping and planning

Obtain competitive experience evaluations and customer data and establish benchmarks for content

Contribute to content creation governance and workflow as well as style, tone and voice guidelines, including recommendations around brand vision

Present content concepts in collaboration with designers

Write and design in accordance with design system

Contribute to the development of the team’s culture and quality standards

Manage and administer design projects

Coordinate copy translation

Required

• Experience 5-7 years, with a minimum of 2 years in product design or creating digital experiences.
• Writing Expertise Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a proven track record in online content, kiosk interfaces, and voice/audio user interfaces.
• Interactive Design Knowledge Strong understanding of interactive design and usability principles, and how content strategy enhances user experience.
• Passion for Design A genuine enthusiasm for creating exceptional user experiences.
• Process Adaptability Ability to adapt processes to meet the specific needs of each project.
• Collaboration Eagerness to work collaboratively across teams.
• Self-Driven Motivated, flexible, organized, and accountable.
• User-Centered Design Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and related disciplines, including experience strategy, visual design, UX writing, design research, and interaction design.
• Portfolio A strong portfolio that showcases a wide range of UX writing skills.
• Seasoned Writer Demonstrated expertise in writing for diverse formats and platforms.
• Tools Proficiency Familiarity with Figma/FigJam and Confluence/Jira is preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of remaining stationary at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift to 15 lbs., as needed
• Must be able to work on-site (corporate/client offices), as needed (not applicable for 100% remote roles)
• Occasionally required to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead.
• Hand-eye coordination necessary to operate computers and various pieces of office equipment. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, the ability to tolerate fluorescent lighting, and the ability to adjust focus.
