Job description

The Content Experience Team is seeking passionate and talented content designers & content and editorial strategists to help create customer-facing User Interfaces across multiple brands and digital platforms, streamline content workflows, integrate governance standards, and evolve authoring and distribution technologies to create cohesive, intuitive, and relevant content experiences. You will collaborate with designers, researchers, technologists, and business stakeholders to craft meaningful experiences for our customers using iterative, human-centered design.

Ideal candidates will exhibit detailed mastery of the English language, an understanding of and commitment to user-centered design and experience writing for digital products. You will support multi-disciplinary teams focused on translating human needs into viable product concepts. Your work will bring new products, services, and features to life.

The Content Experience Team interfaces with stakeholders cross-functionally to develop beneficial strategies and creative solutions. To support these strategies, we also facilitate coordination with external partners to ensure the successful execution of content creation and distribution.

Responsibilities

  • Create data and research-driven content solutions and recommendations with consideration for user needs, business goals, and resource constraints
  • Develop, manage, and execute content strategy plans that include diverse delivery formats and distribution channels
  • Advocate for the user in all experiences, championing a content-first approach to design
  • Help define opportunities for alignment, content reuse, and improved content delivery processes
  • Find smart ways to use data and research to evaluate and improve the content
  • Act as a subject matter expert and point of contact for user experience writing
  • Write clear, consistent, and concise user interface copy

Growth Mindset: Your desire to learn and evolve surpasses your need to be right. You’re self-motivated, open to feedback, take criticism well and look for opportunities to improve yourself and your craft.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to successfully manage a variety of large projects at one time
  • Ability to see the big picture, with a strategic mindset and approach
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience in digital content management, digital content development, or related field
  • Experience with multiple forms of content channels and deliverables, preferably including product development
  • Experience working with content in large enterprises with competing priorities
  • Open to feedback and knows how to give and to receive criticism
  • Ability to work collaboratively

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interests aligned with Tech and Automotive industries
  • Experience incorporating research into the design process, including contextual inquiry, usability testing, heuristic evaluation, etc.
  • Strong understanding of UX practices, including design thinking, user testing, and journey mapping
  • Experience working in Figma as well as in agile environments

Education and Experience

  • 5+ years of digital publishing / content marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in relevant discipline required

Compensation: The median level of salary compensation for this role is $90,223.08 - 144,122.52 USD Annual

Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
