Technical writers plan, create, and maintain educational content as an integral part of the engineering or user experience. The content is often in the form of documentation, but may also be UI text, sample code, videos, or other educational material. Regardless of the content medium, technical writers are distinguished by their abilities to explain complex topics in a way that’s useful to their audience.
As a Technical Content Strategist, you will have a significant leadership role and influence on documentation development in several product areas and collaborate closely with executive business partners. You will define a holistic content strategy for a variety of user experiences or multimedia approaches by defining the problem, setting goals, helping implement solutions, and measuring effectiveness.
You will assist and mentor Technical Writers and Product Managers to identify the top topics in their product areas and design use cases with supporting assets such as text, tutorials, and videos. You will collaborate with information architects to ensure that our information architecture improves usability, discovery, and access for users.
