The Master Content Designer is a subject matter expert in the Healthfirst Customer Communication Management (CCM) correspondence platform and is responsible for creating, maintaining, and delivering regulatory compliant and accurate member and provider correspondence templates across print and digital channels. As a core member of the Correspondence Center of Excellence (COE) team, the Master Content Designer participates in all design and build aspects of correspondence functions within the CCM platform. The incumbent will work directly with the COE team and Enterprise Correspondence Scrum teams to deliver new and updated existing correspondence. This individual will have the responsibility for providing direction to authoring staff regarding functional template design, implementation, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance activities.


  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise in Customer Communications Management (CCM) to implement and maintain correspondence Templates.
  • Provide guidance to fellow members of the COE team, Enterprise Correspondence Scrum teams and the business on authoring and configuring new and existing correspondence Templates.
  • Develop and maintain enterprise CCM standards and best practices.
  • Continually review and refine the correspondence design for efficiencies and performance to determine the most effective way to configure Templates.
  • Work with the business to rationalize correspondence Templates to improve efficiency and reduce ongoing maintenance.
  • Draft Business Logic Documents and Specifications Documents, create and maintain Master Templates, Templates and Resource Masters.
  • Unit test Templates at all stages of development: Authoring, System Testing and Release Testing.
  • Partner with Information Technology (IT) on XSD structure, Data Masters and Payloads for triggering Templates.
  • Collaborate with the business areas & IT to leverage the CCM platform to enhance and support the business processes.
  • Determine the root cause of correspondence-related incidents.
  • Support CCM platform-related project activities.
  • Ensure compliance with established federal and state regulations, security standards and recommended solutions.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution
  • Working knowledge of Customer Communication Management applications
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Excel to create, edit, and manipulate data - intermediate level
  • Knowledge of creating and editing documents using Microsoft Word
  • Experience working in fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Work experience with Quadient Inspire CCM application: Inspire Interactive & Designer to create and update content blocks and templates including general knowledge of Inspire Scaler
  • Understanding of databases and SQL
  • Experience working with Agile methodology and Scrum teams
  • Familiarity with VersionOne or similar user story tracking software
  • Experience working within the Healthcare industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate complex information to non-technical audiences
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills, sound judgment and ability to learn quickly and interface with all levels
  • Demonstrated problem assessment and problem-solving skills to identify issues and alert appropriate personnel to address the issue or provide guidance on the situation
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Flexibility and adaptability
