What we’re looking for:

A highly organised, confident and proactive Content Strategist leading Content strategy and content calendar creation across social media channels for a number of well-known and loved brands. 

The role will advocate for the customer and the client as well as the creative teams advising on effective, best practice approaches to content and social strategy, customer experience on platform and creative execution.

Key responsibilities of this role will be to lead the client engagement, as well as the onsite Hogarth Content Team within the client and define the social strategy. This role will form a pivotal role in the newly formed inhouse Content team within one of Hogarth’s major clients and will work closely with Hogarth’s Content Strategy team and the head of Digital & Media within the client to implement content strategy across key channels.

What You’ll Do

  • Audit content to establish areas of improvements, personas, gaps in customer experience and advise on modular content strategy
  • Implement social channel and platform strategy across brands to drive consumer engagement
  • Act as a content expert and advocate; advising on effective, best-practice approaches to content and social strategy as well as sharing learnings and training
  • Define content effectiveness and engagement framework, content guidelines toolkit and KPIs to drive centralised consistency, quality and adoption across social channels
  • Develop and implement a content effectiveness measurement framework to assess if all content created adheres to the strategy
  • Govern all assets to ensure brand compliance and collate feedback from media and client owners
  • Own the Content calendar to ensure high quality output against the strategy
  • Work with Community Manager and Creative teams to ensure content and platform best practices are followed
  • Collect, track and analyse content performance
  • Optimise content and creative briefs based on content and customer insights
  • Work with the Hogarth Digital Growth team on innovation initiatives to drive business growth & build new capabilities

What You’ll Have:

  • Self-starter disposition & proactive approach to solving client issues
  • Knowledge and implementation of social media advertising, including customer research, strategy, vision, design, development, testing and optimisation
  • Experience of using data and insight to act as the bridge between understanding business objectives and the customers, and engaging with them through social, at the speed of culture
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management and organisational skills
  • Solid interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders including clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong understanding of culture and emerging trends and an ability to apply these to content thinking
  • An understanding of what motivates and engages consumers in the social space using social listening and search insight tools
  • Understanding of social scheduling tools and media dashboards to analyse relevant data and drive content performance optimisation
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or related field - nice to have but not required
  • 5-8 years min experience in Content and Social Strategy
  • A passion for food
  • Experience working in FMCG would be beneficial
