Manger is looking for a UX writer and product content manager to join our User Experience Team at client You will contribute to content development, authoring, and publishing for product UI. You will guide the conversation with users making complex features and concepts easy to understand and intuitive to use.
You must be hands-on and demonstrate domain expertise in UX writing for software applications and customer portals, as well as working with an enterprise CMS. You have a good understanding of how to balance business goals with user needs. You can apply design thinking, user empathy, and content guidelines to create engaging and consistent user-facing messaging.
You will work within and improve upon current product development lifecycle processes and collaborate with UX designers, developers, product managers, and the localization team to produce quality digital experiences. Above all, you will advocate for users and inform, educate, and delight our customers.
Collaborate on project plans and cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Content authoring for portal products, software applications, and user-facing communications.
Copyedit and proofread digital (mobile and web) content for grammar, style, tone, and voice.
Ability to provide feedback on the visual style, interface, and interaction flow of applications.
Make sure appropriate content is shown to a user in the right place, at the right time, and in the best format.
Organize and manage existing and employee-generated content/documents for publishing.
Work with translation managers to coordinate the publishing of locale files in over 17 languages.
Understand browser capabilities, IT infrastructure, CMS, JSON code, and HTML templates to ensure that content schemes are feasible and deliverable.
Contribute to feature requirements, design reviews, and UAT cycles.
Requirements
Strong knowledge of UX writing, content design and content management with experience on portals and enterprise CMS.
Minimum of three years writing in/about/for the technology space
Experience implementing content strategy, reviewing feature requirements with PM, working with UX designers, and applying editorial style guidelines.
Proven ability to deliver effective and compelling content online (microcopy, labels, page body copy, error messages, tooltips, help articles, emails, notifications).
Influential communication (verbal, written, and presentation) skills.
Portfolio review required (samples, websites, process descriptions).
