The content team is part of the Center of Expertise UX & Content within the Tribe Digital Delivery at ING Wholesale Banking. The Tribe Digital Delivery has a clear objective: “To be the best European wholesale bank powered by our global network." You will help achieve this goal by creating and executing the content strategy for the public website INGWB.com.
The channels owned by the Tribe include the INGWB.com website, an internet banking portal (InsideBusiness Portal), and a mobile app (InsideBusiness App). Our customers, spread across more than 35 countries, use these channels for daily banking, services, and content consumption.
Your role as INGWB.com's digital content strategist and content manager involves shaping content strategies that align with our business goals and most importantly to resonate with our target audience of leaders within large corporate companies. You will optimise the content to meet our strategy and communication objectives in terms of planning and evaluation, relevance, quality, consistency, SEO, and SEA. You will use your collaboration and influencing skills to work with stakeholders from Global Wholesale Banking Communication, Global Marketing Communications, ING Research, ING.com, subject matter experts, and Wholesale Banking Senior Management to create high-quality content, such as company information, product and advisory content, campaigns, thought leadership articles, client case studies, market reports, and service content.
The role entails embracing the ING Agile way of working as a member of the Content Expertise Team, of which you will be a senior member.
Your Key Responsibilities
Content strategy
You will create and implement content strategies that are consistent with our objectives and resonate with our target audience of leaders within large corporate companies around the globe. Your primary goal will be to consistently deliver high-performing and high-quality content on INGWB.com, including a planning calendar and evaluation. You should be able to translate data into insights for continual improvement and have the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders in our own domain and across many functions in the bank. You’ll collaborate closely with the Communication and MarComm teams, product managers, and external agencies to ensure consistency.
Channel management, performance analytics, and content trends
You will analyse existing content and implement improvements to increase effectiveness, relevance, consistency, discoverability, and lifecycle management. This includes reusing content across many mediums. You will use the content management system "Bloomreach" to manage content on ingwb.com and relevant themes on the internet banking portal.
Your content initiatives and enhancements are data-driven. You will keep up with current and future developments in digital content, incorporating trends into your daily work and having the initiative to suggest new solutions. In addition, you will develop content and search dashboards and data to help content owners enhance their content.
Content expert and advisory role
As a content expert, you will have a view on how we should reach our audience. You’ll be able to assist and advise various content owners in the Wholesale Bank with their content creation and to improve the quality. Additionally, you will increase the knowledge level of digital content across the organisation by providing training, sharing knowledge, and creating guidelines.
