JOB DESCRIPTION

A large automotive company is looking to partner with a Technical Writer to join their Infrastructure and Application team. This person will be responsible for creating comprehensive documentation that details all the applications (10+ applications consisting of proprietary apps and out of the box applications) and infrastructure architectures. This role is crucial for ensuring that the technical processes and systems are well-documented, accessible, and easy to understand for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. In addition, they will be in charge of incident management and help communicate and document all incidents for the team.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of experience as a technical writer
• Previous experience documenting infrastructure architecture as well as applications
• Proficient in Visio
• Experience using a document repository such as Confluence and SharePoint
• Required to be onsite 3 days onsite a week - Monday, Tuesday and Thursday

NICE TO HAVE (not required)

Experience documenting incidents - incident management

Compensation:

$50-65hr (depending on years of experience)
