We’re passionate about connecting people with their local restaurants and favourite dishes through our brands’ apps and websites, and that means making sure the platform meets the needs of consumers, restaurants, couriers and corporate partners!

All about the role:

We're counting on you to help create simple, joyful and engaging experiences for consumers on our brands’ websites and apps. 

Collaboration is a key ingredient of this role. You’ll be working alongside designers, developers and product owners to ensure your copy works with the experience they’re building as well as being a prime member of this new and developing UX copy team. 

As well as being a talented writer, you’re able to see the bigger picture. You’ll be responsible for creating a consistent end-to-end experience by working with researchers and other writers to understand customer pain points and craft the copy to eliminate those. Liasoning with other writers across the business, you’ll guarantee that the JET voice is consistent across all touchpoints and that you’re giving the experience a human touch. 

You’ll also help streamline our workflow, manage your tasks, facilitate translations and evangelize the role of a UX writer within the Product team. 

Can you deliver … ?

  • 5+ years experience in UX writing with a tech company, supporting product teams in an agile environment with an understanding of what it takes to launch a product
  • Natural collaboration skills combined with the ability to work independently and support multiple teams; this means you can prioritize, manage deadlines and set expectations with stakeholders
  • A portfolio of work that illustrates your ability to engage with customers
  • Fluent English skills – written and spoken. Knowledge of a second language (especially Dutch, German or Bulgarian) is a plus
  • Experience writing copy that can translated and localised and knowing how to do it in a conversational and natural way
  • An affinity for working in a fast-paced and flexible environment
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-player ethos
