Level: Consultant

Reports to: Experience Design Capability Lead

Main purpose of role & level in the business:

As an experienced Content Designer, you will be responsible for creating clear, user-centered content and making use of recognised content design guidelines and principles. You will be an advocate for user-centered design, design thinking and service design, and passionate about guiding others in content design.

You will be part of our growing Experience Design capability creating exemplary digital services. We are supportive, collaborative, talented, and hugely passionate about user-centred design. We are not about marketing and dark patterns; we are all about making a positive, measurable impact on millions of people through quality products and services.

Minimum (essential) requirements:

  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Welsh
  • Lead and carry out the design of user-centred content experiences, owning specific work areas
  • Experience in planning, commissioning, creating and editing digital content across various channels
  • Develop content strategies and recommendations based on user needs, research and analysis
  • Experience producing style, governance and workflow guidelines
  • Coach others in the practice and principles of content design
  • Experience working with Agile delivery methodologies
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Excellent commercial awareness
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Strong awareness of content design/strategy trends and best practices

Desirable:

  • Experience in assisting with or conducting research and analysing findings to identify content needs
  • Experience of working in a full-service digital agency environment
  • Thought leader in content design
