We are currently recruiting for a Sr. UX Content Designer contract position with one of our clients, a top computer security software company.

Duration: 4 months

As a Sr. Content Designer on our UX team, you’re the voice inside our apps and products. You’re writing interface content that builds trust, sparks joy, and communicates clearly with our customers across their product journey. Your writing matters.

What you’ll do:

  • Collaborate with designers, developers, product managers, and program managers to create remarkable user experiences
  • Plan, write, and test UI content that ensures our customers know what to do and how to do it
  • Work with other Content Designers to review each other’s work and produce a consistent voice
  • Communicate with project teammates and subject matter experts to gather info and explain what decisions and testing informed your content
  • Use tools like Figma and UserZoom (we can show you the ropes)
  • Be an ambassador for content within the organization, and demonstrate that clear, consistent language is key to a great customer experience

Requirements:

  • Empathy and a collaborative mindset
  • A strong portfolio of your writing, preferably including UI and/or web content
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain content styles and standards while adapting your writing to different audiences and personas
  • A solid understanding of user-centered design and the role of content within that design process
  • A degree in English, Professional Writing, Technical or Marketing Communications, or equivalent experience that helped you develop your excellent writing skills
  • 8+ years’ experience in UI or web writing, copywriting, and/or user experience design
  • Some flexibility to work hours that accommodate team members in other time zones
