Are you great with words? Intrigued by how people learn, and not afraid of technology? Have you got excellent customer service skills? Our Kineo team are looking for a talented Learning Content Designer to work on exciting and innovative projects for our blue-chip clients.

The Learning Content Designer supports our Learning Experience Designers and Consultants and is responsible for organizing the customer content around the learning objectives, leveraging storytelling and learning design best practices to script the experience and ensuring the finished product meets or exceeds the approved design. 

This role is based in the US and you will be a part of a friendly and experienced team, but the position is remote-home based so you need to enjoy this kind of working arrangement. 

This appointment will be made on merit.

About The Role

You will partner with Kineo teams and clients to design learning solutions that deliver quantifiably better results to your learners and their organizations. This role is a key part of the Learning Strategy & Design team, which specializes in the development of world-class learning experiences for corporate organizations and non-profits.  

At Kineo, we design learning solutions that engage, energize, and motivate learners and have quantifiably better outcomes. You will be working with our project teams and customers to help design, script and build best-in-class engaging learning solutions. This includes leading customer workshops to define objectives, content analysis and mapping, content scripting and authoring. Some important tasks for this role are:

  • Work to understand customer and learner challenges
  • Uncover relevant stories and scenarios that can be used to script compelling stories that evoke emotions to help learners connect with the content
  • Brainstorm solutions with the internal team and customers, and guide the work of graphic artists, and developers to create learning prototypes, animations, interactions, and illustrations
  • Help develop and evolve our design practice
  • Help develop learning product solutions that can be applied across projects¬†

About You

We are looking for a passionate person with a previous background in writing for digital experiences. We would like you to be passionate about helping people learn and improve. 

Other attributes we are looking for: 

  • Highly empathetic with good emotional intelligence
  • Highly enthusiastic, flexible and dynamic individual
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced growth company, on multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Capable of leading workshops in organizing objectives and content
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills, with proven ability to write a range of technical, instructional, and educational materials in different contexts, in a range of tones and styles
  • Systems Thinking with strong analytical skills, ability to review large volumes of information and make informed decisions about priorities and treatment of materials
  • Able to use MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), comfortable learning new applications including learning authoring tools and graphics application packages¬†

We are also looking for a person with a great level of customer service and excellent telephone manners.
