The ideal candidate for this role has a bachelor’s degree in English, communications, or journalism, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a marketing role for a professional services firm. Experience with project lifecycles, marketing campaigns, and/or the A/E/C industry is a plus.

This role will be based out of our Philadelphia office.

Role And Responsibilities

The Marketing Writer and Content Coordinator’s main responsibility is writing content for various marketing purposes and types of media which includes the following, but is not limited to:

  • Create, organize, and maintain project-related content such as project narratives for project pages and case studies, boilerplate text, social media captions, text for award submissions, blog posts, and e-blasts as well as any other written content for marketing use that consistently captures the firm voice.
  • Prepare submission abstracts and speaker ask emails for speaking opportunities and coordinate overall effort once selected including preparation of presentation slides.
  • Review written content for quality control to ensure internal and external communications are on-brand.
  • Assist with roadmap planning, story concepting, and overall content schedules, and maintain content calendars and trackers.
  • Provide reporting and data analysis to inform content decision-making
  • Accomplish additional miscellaneous as-needed projects to support marketing campaign developments and targeted efforts.

  • Excellent writing and proofreading skills in English

  • Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Acrobat/Reader, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Efficient with Microsoft Excel and Adobe Photoshop helpful

  • Ability to execute short-term goals infused with long-term initiatives
