Possibility of extension/renewal into 2023; this role is augmenting the existing team for additional capacity to support the Client's website.

Client's digital team is looking for an experienced content strategist to help create engaging member journeys for Client.com. In collaboration with a team of designers, content authors and product teams, your work helps educate existing and potential customers on how to take the most advantage of their benefits, as well as get useful information and health alerts.

As a senior content strategist, you'll bring strategic thinking into everything you do and align creative with the business goals of your clients. You and your design partners will be expected to translate often complex or ambiguous business requirements into meaningful user experiences, so adaptability and comfort iterating are crucial qualities.

The Senior Content Strategist is part of a digital team that supports our Client enterprise website. The Senior Content Strategist will work with various stakeholders to develop/write content for the Client.com website across a variety of initiatives.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Write accurate and creative copy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives and adheres to brand standards, vision, style and tone.
  • Collaborate with designers on on-screen visuals and UX solutions.
  • Facilitate reviews and approvals with various stakeholders.
  • Provide a rationale for copy decisions and iterate based on feedback.
  • Manage multiple copy decks.
  • Meet biweekly sprint deadlines.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years as a Content Strategist on digital products and services.
  • 4+ years working at the enterprise level or a large organization, plus the know-how when it comes to the complexity of cross-functional collaboration.
  • Superior communication skills with the ability to partner with teams, and effectively present work to clients, creative leadership and marketing stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to poke holes, ask the right questions and distill complex content into clear, concise and compelling stories.
  • Demonstrated exceptional writing and editing skills, as well as relentless attention to detail.
  • Evidence of positive and collaborative relationships with UX/UI designers while working in lockstep.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Working knowledge of UX fundamentals and/or digital best practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Word/Excel.
  • Proficiency in MS Windows/PC.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in InVision, JIRA, MS Teams, Adobe Suite, Figma.
  • Health care and/or agency experience.
  • Experience working with legal and compliance review processes.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, English, Creative Writing, Advertising/Communications, or equivalent field.
