Job description
The Associate Content Strategist develops content needed to deliver an exceptional user experience and ensures that all instructional and editorial content is relevant, accurate and engaging for users.
Responsibilities:
- Execute content strategy for all or part of assigned projects, collaborating with team members, process owners, and cross-functional partners in the development of effective digital content solutions.
- Participates in the objective-setting and discovery process to explore which content methods and tools may be used for the business challenge at hand (content audits, competitive assessments, quantitative analysis, gap analyses, user research, persona development, etc.).
- Understands how various content artifacts support information architecture and user experience strategy, including CMS template requirements, content schematics, taxonomy and navigation, metadata, SEO, controlled vocabulary, etc.
- With guidance from more senior team members, writes relevant, accurate and engaging content that adheres to brand guidelines for tone and voice and uses best practices for the given channel/medium.
- Seeks constructive feedback and integrates feedback to improve content. Uses cross-project or cross-work stream customer experience requirements to ensure continuity for the user across the omnichannel customer experience.
- Works collaboratively, seeking constructive feedback and integrating feedback to improve content strategy expertise.
- HTML or Social Media experience is a plus.
Qualifications
- As typically acquired through a Bachelor`s degree in English, Communications, Journalism or related field or equivalent experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Advanced written and oral communication skills
- Ability to present projects and status reports to manager and team
- Solid relationship-building and collaboration skills
