What’s the role? 

You’ll join a small-but-mighty, 10-person team of UX content strategists who provide dedicated content design support for different aspects of our customer’s journey. In this role, you’ll support digital service and claims journeys for existing customers. You’ll translate complex information into easy-to-understand guidance that helps customers feel confident completing transactions (like registering for an account or filing a claim) online. In this senior-level role, you’ll also be responsible for aligning content work across multiple squads, partnering closely with leads from other disciplines to drive consistency, and defining processes to ensure work is of the highest quality. 

In this role, you will:

  • Work in an agile environment. You’ll partner closely with product owners, product design leads, and engineers, as well as other content strategists, marketers, analysts, and researchers.
  • Identify content opportunities. You’ll initiate and contribute to research to identify ways to improve the user experience through information architecture and the use of language.
  • Align multiple projects and workstreams. You’ll facilitate cross-squad communication and working sessions to ensure content team members stay aligned.
  • Act as the content point-person for the service and claims experience. You’ll help identify new priorities and make resourcing recommendations to ensure appropriate content support.
  • Champion concise, effective content. You’ll support the Principal Content Strategist in driving content excellence and consistency across the service and claims experience.

Qualifications

This role might be for you if:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • You have experience working within a UX team and collaborating with many disciplines
  • You have at least 2 years of experience writing for digital applications and interfaces
  • You have advanced knowledge of content strategy methods and tools like content audits, competitive assessments, quantitative analysis, gap analyses, user research, personas, etc.
  • You’re analytical, and you love to synthesize complex information
  • You have a portfolio of written work that demonstrates creativity, business impact, and results
