M3 Wake Research, Inc. is one of the largest independent clinical research site services companies in North America. M3 Wake Research has more than 23 owned and managed research sites across 9 states in the US and continues to grow. Due to continued growth and expansion, we are looking for a qualified Web Content Specialist to join our team. This position is open to candidates in Raleigh, NC or Remote Candidates (East Cost candidates preferred).

We are searching for an experienced web specialist who understands the fundamentals of web content management and web design best practices. Responsibilities will include maintenance of several web properties, with an emphasis on updating web content, while being mindful of UX, landing page design and web form integrations. The ideal candidate is experienced when it comes to content management of WP-based websites. The ideal candidate will be eager to grow and advance to Web Manager

Responsibilities

  • Add and update content on WordPress websites
  • Continually looks for ways to improve content and design elements, enhance UX and readability
  • Edit text, images, and information displayed on websites while ensuring compliance with web usability and accessibility standards
  • Optimize and ensure proper tracking of all organic and paid traffic
  • Routine and rigorous testing of cross-platform design and functionality of websites and web forms
  • Identify and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Provide web analytics data as needed using Google Analytics and in-house CRM
  • Interact closely with the marketing team and execute web content and strategies to achieve goals
  • Provide recommendations for technical improvements or performance enhancements

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience working with WordPress-based websites
  • Knowledgeable in JavaScript, JavaScript frameworks, website CMS platforms, HTML/CSS, and URL structure & parameters
  • Demonstrated knowledge of web standards, usability methods, user interface and user experience
  • Understanding of SEO principles and best practices
  • Experience using WordPress content management system
  • Experience using various page-building tools such as WP Bakery, Elementor, Avada
  • Experience setting up website themes such as Bridge, Avada, Jupiter X, etc.
  • Some experience using Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Photoshop, Illustrator and XD) is helpful
  • Experience using Google Tag Manager is preferred
  • Strong project management skills, focus, and attention to detail
