McKesson’s Compliance & Ethics (C&E) organization is seeking a Creative Content Designer – Compliance to join our team. This role will report directly to the Director, C&E Training and Communications and will be an individual contributor role.

The Creative Content Designer – Compliance will be responsible for and participate in multiple projects supporting presentation and communications development for the Compliance team including: general program content development supporting the C&E Training and Communications team, Compliance organization focused communications and content, and supporting the development of executive presentations.

The Creative Content Designer – Compliance will demonstrate strong conceptual problem-solving skills and translate project requirements into visually engaging, innovative solutions to include, but not limited to, infographics, logos, presentations, digital signage, posters/flyers, newsletters, video, interactive/multimedia, web banners, job aids and graphics.

The Creative Content Designer – Compliance should be comfortable tackling a wide range of projects from basic PowerPoint presentation design and content updates to advanced infographic creation requiring the distillation of complex compliance topics into easy-to-understand formats and graphics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create graphics, slide templates and other PowerPoint materials for CCO presentations for Board of Directors and executive leadership meetings and other C&E presentations and events.
  • Supports training development in terms of graphics and other design support as directed by the compliance training instructional designer
  • Collaborates with corporate communication and creative services functions to ensure design work meets branding requirements and utilizes latest design templates and supporting photos, icons, etc.
  • Designs communication materials from newsletters to digital signage in support of compliance campaigns including in support of policy releases, Compliance & Ethics Week, National Privacy Day and other significant initiatives
  • Conducts and attends all relevant meetings associated with job function and completes tasks correctly and on time.
  • Maintains cohesive working relationships with all levels of management, line of business personnel, and team to effectively interface on all projects and deliverables.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a design-related field or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience in related field
  • Demonstration of design fundamentals including layout, hierarchy, typography
  • Working knowledge of HTML required or other design-related technologies

Critical Skills

  • Experience using advanced desktop publishing, page layout, and/or typesetting software to design and develop high quality textual and graphical compositions to communicate compliance information
  • Maintains basic skills and working knowledge of Web development programming tools, including HTML
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate and interact clearly and effectively with all levels of personnel
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines, often with tight timelines, while maintaining accuracy and quality
  • Ability to understand complex problems, and to collaborate and explore alternative solutions
  • Strong organization and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on large and small projects, with changing priorities
  • Strong self-starter and self-motivator, with the ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion
  • Service and team-oriented
