Job description
Our cyber solutions client is seeking a marketing content director to join their team to focus on the overall content strategy as well as the other marketing initiatives and strategies. This position will report directly to the CMO and be part of a small marketing & creative team. They are looking for someone who can strategize targeted marketing.
This position will have a hybrid schedule, with the office based in Tysons; DMV candidates only.
Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, create, and monitor pipeline creation, optimizing integrated activities across all channels to maximize ROI; heavy content creation, and strategy
- Plan and execute activities, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and within budget with quality leads and conversions
- Work closely with sales teams to plan, design, and execute targeted account-based marketing programs to attract key prospects into the pipeline
- Conduct regular marketing and sales reviews to present the impact of marketing activities on the sales pipeline, identify gaps in strategy, and collaborate quickly and impactfully with the team to revise marketing plans to fill gaps
- Collaborate with the CMO to plan and monitor the top-of-funnel demand generation and identify other initiatives that will help build a pipeline
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to identify and collaborate on campaigns and content
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required; MBA is preferred
- 10+ years of relevant leadership experience in marketing and media with a preference towards having experience in multiple media areas including traditional TV, OTT, digital, social, and paid search
- Strong understanding and/or exposure to the marketing technology landscape DSPs, DMPs, CMS, analytics & marketing automation platforms, mobile, social
- Deep knowledge leading paid search (SEM) efforts
- Proven ability in managing large advertising budgets.
- Excellent functional skills including problem-solving, financial modeling, forecasting skills, analytical skills, and project management
- Demonstrated success in developing new strategies, building business cases, gaining internal/external support, and driving implementation, coupled with a track record of solid decision making
- Proficiencies with metrics and data for mobile and online consumer businesses
