Here’s your chance to join one of those teams –Marketing—as a Content Strategist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to help lead the transformation of Medcor’s marketing while serving as an SME for highly visible initiatives.

As a Content Strategist, you will be responsible for the creation of compelling, creative and corporate content, including digital performance content, that engages B2B audiences and promotes conversions while elevating key value propositions. Instrumental in building the engagement journey, the Content Strategist will develop cohesive and effective messaging that helps achieve campaign objectives while strengthening the Medcor brand.

This is a full-time position working remotely from a home office; the hours vary but will be day shift, Monday - Friday. The pay range for this role is $70,000 - $90,000 per year with full benefits that start on day one! 

A day in the life...

• Offer a balanced and versatile approach to corporate, creative and digital performance content writing. Create engaging content while weaving in industry best practices and integrating search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to maximize online visibility.
• Implement your strong understanding of content strategy and the role content plays in the sales funnel, and your ability to develop content strategies across a variety of channels for multiple industries.
• Collaborate with marketing leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business objectives into actionable, on-brand messages that resonate with targeted audiences.
• Serve as SME for Medcor brand and style and lead highly visible projects such as the annual report.
• Collaborate with creative design partners—often on the fly—to adapt copy to work within varying formats and accommodate stakeholder feedback as necessary. 

The best candidates will meet these requirements:

• Expertise in writing for one or more vertical markets such as Healthcare, Technology, Life Sciences and B2B
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of web principles including SEO
• Strong online portfolio demonstrating recent writing capabilities, campaign development, case studies and sales collateral, reflecting the responsibilities of this position and the diversity of skillset.
• Exceptional communication skills, persuasive writing and a big-picture thinker: strategic, critical and creative.
• Proven attention to detail. Professional experience writing in AP style with immaculate spelling, grammar, and proofreading skills. Comfortable editing the work of others.
• Superior stakeholder management skills; skillful at building advocacy, and gaining alignment across different stakeholder functions and priorities.
• Adept at harnessing data to inform decisions, and balances flawless execution with changing priorities and getting things done.
• Ability to learn quickly—to become familiar with Medcor’s services and industry, including competitors and partners—demonstrate initiative, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong collaborator who coordinates projects with the team and maintains workflow accountability
• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Journalism or a related field
• 2-3 years experience with CMS platform; WordPress preferred
• 2-3 years experience with HubSpot preferred
• Google Analytics certification within the last year preferred
