This editor will create news content for Agriculture.com on weather, markets, livestock, and breaking news events. This role will also publish magazine stories on the web and publish contributors’ stories. This role also administers many of the daily tasks of Agriculture.com. This editor will also optimize our content for SEO and be the primary lead for our Desktop Alerts Program. This role will also be a backup to produce the Daily News email newsletter, a backup for social media posts, and perform other web tasks as needed.

Some writing background is required. Some social media experience is helpful. Some experience using a content management system is preferred.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
An agricultural background or experience is preferred. Use of Web analytics tools is helpful.
