Job description

Micro Kickboard is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our marketing team and help support the company’s e-commerce efforts on our own website, while also working with and contributing to the company’s overall marketing goals.

Micro Kickboard is a leading provider of scooters with great brand recognition and strong growth. We are known across the US for our smooth-gliding, Swiss-designed Micro scooters, and for our other innovative ride-on (for adults as well as children as young as age one). Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Responsible for working with the Marketing Director on the organization's e-commerce objectives, initiatives, and results
  • Work with the marketing team to take ownership of the product lifecycle marketing, especially as it relates to website presence, and manage all active SKUs
  • Analyze and optimize the SEO of our websites (built in Shopify)
  • Coordinate and take the lead on product launch content and strategies
  • Continually optimize websites, including for mobile traffic
  • Continually monitor and update web content appropriately, coordinating with departments as needed
  • Own the website experience and leverage consumer on-site behavior and analytics to achieve business targets
  • Analyze, report, and take action based on web analytics
  • Develop site optimization strategy and calendar to drive short and long-term improvements
  • Create, update, and maintain website pop-ups and sale promotions as needed
  • A/B testing on Shopify websites
  • Manage the third-party partners and technologies that power our Shopify Plus e-commerce websites and leverage them effectively to drive increased traffic and sales
  • Analyze and report on post-purchase customer data
  • Strategize and implement automation based on data
  • List management, growth, and segmentation of customer data & marketing contacts
  • Coordinate with Micro’s Amazon/E-commerce Marketplace Specialist
  • Apply general website optimizations as requested/coordinate with 3rd party partner for implementations as applicable
  • Traffic all IT tickets associated with Micro’s websites; handle basic troubleshooting of the sites and/or integrations
  • General marketing tasks related to the content, e-commerce, etc as requested.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of demonstrated success in a hands-on e-commerce role in a retail environment
  • Experience with Shopify or Shopify Plus (required), UX drivers and SEO
  • Familiarity with A/B testing including program development and performance measurement
  • Experience working with internal systems and/or third-party technologies
  • Previous experience with site merchandising and conversion rate optimization tactics
  • Experience with Analytics tools
  • Understanding of customer service, supply chain, fulfillment, and operations processes
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-team projects with several teams
  • Demonstrated ability to create content with accuracy and attention to detail, with a focus on layout and aesthetic elements on an e-commerce platform.
  • Experience with both B2B and B2C e-commerce preferred
  • Background in Marketing

Ideal Candidate:

  • A strong product and/or e-commerce experience and a proven track record of leveraging experience to innovate
  • Prior experience in an e-commerce environment
  • Strong understanding of customer journeys
  • Strong writing skills
  • Strategic and analytical; data and hypothesis-driven
  • Strong communication skills: must be able to communicate to ensure that the websites accurately reflect the desired message and effectively express information
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Creativity: Ability to think of new approaches to communicating ideas to consumers; develop unique designs and user interfaces that convey a recognizable meaning
  • Time-management skills: Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time, each with a different deadline
  • Self-motivated, and driven to deliver exemplary work

Full Time (Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm)

Compensation: Commensurate with experience
