Job description

About us:

In a tiny Los Angeles apartment in 2013, two college dropouts banded together to create what would eventually become the world’s fastest growing watch brand. Their idea was simple: to make sleek quality watches with bold personalities, modern and unexpected colorways, and accessible price points that broke all the rules of the watch industry.

This flagship line skyrocketed MVMT from a crowdfunded venture into a global brand, with products sold in over 160+ countries, and a thriving social media community of over 5 million strong. MVMT’s design catalogue has since expanded into more than 20 unique watch collections, sunglasses, blue light eyewear, and jewelry.

In 2018 MVMT was acquired by Movado Group Inc. Since 1881, Movado has been one of the world’s premier watchmakers, with a proud heritage of Swiss craftsmanship, design excellence, and technological innovation.

This role is responsible for the day-to-day management and execution of all eCommerce consumer-facing content, promotions, product set-up and visual merchandising. The Content Specialist is responsible for the eCommerce sites of MVMT, partnering with numerous internal and external team members to support all online activities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support eCommerce merchandisers with the implementation of merchandising plans (i.e. collections, marketing tiles, navigation updates, product recommendations, etc.) in Salesforce Commerce Cloud
  • Lead and optimize on-site A/B testing program to improve overall session value and shopping funnel KPIs in collaboration with development, product, and other key stakeholders
  • Proactively identify issues and work with cross-functional partners to resolve them in a timely efficient manner
  • Monitor, meet, and report on e-Commerce KPIs (conversion, bounce/exit, cart abandon, category revenue) across pages and customer segments, and be able to explain business drivers behind fluctuations in these metrics
  • Submit creative briefs to secure assets for eCommerce campaigns and product launches
  • Lead team and cross-functional partners to provide ideas on how to improve upon business processes and make day-to-day eCommerce business functions more efficient
  • Publish all marketing site content, including brand campaigns, region-specific requests, shipping banners, SEO updates, campaign optimization and site enhancements
  • Responsible for managing and editing pages based on cross-functional review and implementing the feedback for each given project before go-live
  • Conduct thorough QA of site content to ensure a high-quality client experience across mobile and desktop
  • Partner with Project Management, Buying/Planning and e-Merchandisers to escalate any launch date concerns
  • Ensure the website reflects correct prices, following any price changes as communicated by buyers/planners and e-Merchandisers
  • Support with daily QA (main category pages – ensure styles are falling into place following the guidelines provided at the beginning of a season and navigation links are all working as expected on the live site)
  • Identify opportunities and seek new initiatives to maximize sales by leveraging customer behavior onsite, site performance trends, and asset engagement analytics.
  • Support additional projects as needed.
