Job description

This role is based at our Phoenix, AZ HQ, and would require relocation to the Phoenix area.

We’re excited to work with a Technical Writer that is data-driven, disciplined, and pragmatic. You are able to quickly adapt, course-correct, and allow the data to lead us in the right direction. Quality and integrity matter to you.

What you’ll be creating:

  • Writing and editing technical documentation including feature descriptions, technical requirements, and product guides.
  • Working with designers to create diagrams, charts, and other visual aids to assist in development.
  • Meeting with engineers, software developers, program and product teams to learn about specific products and processes.
  • Gathering feedback from software and cross-functional teams to improve technical documents.
  • Writing and preparing detailed feature definitions and reports.
  • Owning the success and accuracy of the product.

What you “must” already bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s degree or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience documenting requirements for software products.
  • Experience managing cloud-based storage of documents required.
  • Excellent writing and grammatical skills.
  • Ability to present complex technical information and data in clear, concise text.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Additional Profile Characteristic Preferred:

  • Experience delivering SaaS products, automotive technology, or fleet management systems.
  • Experience working with or building APIs.
  • Experience with technical documentation for Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI).
  • Experience in developing functional system requirements for automotive electronics.

Candidates must have current U.S. work authorization or be TN eligible from Mexico or Canada. 

This position is not eligible for CPT or OPT.
