Job description

Responsibilities

Assist in writing internal and external technical documents such as user guides, white papers, release notes, and requirements for the Enterprise Risk Management team.   

What you'll be doing:

  • Plan, develop, organize, write and edit requirements, technical specifications, technical design, test plans and cases, processes and procedures, workflows, and user-facing documentation for a wide range of internal and externally-facing applications
  • Produce electronic documentation in addition to hard copy manuals
  • Design, create, and maintain documentation templates
  • Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation
  • Analyze and edit documents to maintain continuity of style and content with a focus on clarity, impact, flow, meaning, and readability
  • Manage updates and revisions to documents
  • Produce illustrative screenshots and diagrams 

What we need from you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Information Technology, Communications, English or related field
  • Two (2) years of related experience
  • Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to write in explanatory and procedural styles, factoring in multiple audiences
  • Experience working with IT Engineering/Development
  • Experience working with Business Users/End Users
  • Business Analysis/Quality Assurance experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Google for Work and Microsoft Office products
  • Working knowledge of Visio or similar workflow diagramming application
  • Working knowledge of JIRA/Confluence
  • Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking while maintaining strong attention to detail 
  • Able to produce a portfolio of writing samples for the interview
