Content Designer - Procurement – Digital Content

Employment Type: Ongoing

Classification / Grade / Band: Clerk Grade 7/8

Remuneration: $110,266 - $122,058; plus, Superannuation and Leave Loading

Location: Sydney CBD, Flexible & hybrid working options available

Role impact & contribution

In this role, you'll be at the heart of creating and managing high-quality, user-centered content that meets NSW Government standards and fulfills user needs. Your knack for making complex technical information accessible and inclusive for non-technical readers will be invaluable.

Day-to-day, you'll be the go-to person for managing content requests from various NSW government agencies, while also guiding our colleagues within NSW Procurement on best content practices.

We're passionate about delivering excellent online experiences, and you'll play a key role in this by contributing to various activities that deepen our understanding of user-centered approaches.

Overall, your work will focus on producing user-centered content, supporting research and service improvements, and collaborating with our diverse teams to enhance the user experience.

What you can bring to the role

In this integral role there are a few things we would like for you to have to best support yourself and add value to the people of NSW.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

  • Tertiary training in a related discipline, or demonstrated, equivalent experience and training.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a digital content management role
  • Experience with using content management systems, digital marketing tools, customer contact data bases and analytics tools.

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply for ongoing employment at NSW Treasury, you must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident of Australia.
