About Us:

If you’re a creative and curious content creator who enjoys crafting engaging narratives and doing something different every day, we’re looking for you to join our Marketing Team as a Digital Content Specialist. You’ll bring your diverse copywriting skills to collab with our team of creatives as we promote Lottery products and share the stories of all the great things Lottery dollars support throughout Oregon! You will have a key role in Oregon Lottery’s digital presence as you write, edit, and deploy content across our website, email, digital and social media channels. Your passion and knowledge of all things Oregon will be essential to producing winning results in this role.

Preference will be given to candidates living in Oregon or Washington.

You Will:

  • Apply Lottery Management Core Values and Expectations in performing daily activities. Ensure conduct embodies the principles of fairness, integrity, security, and honesty. Support and integrate into your work the Lottery's commitment to: responsible gambling; diversity, equity, and inclusion; a culture of safety.
  • Take a creative approach to crafting authentic short and longform copy across Lottery owned and paid media channels to achieve marketing goals
  • Apply SEO and digital content best practices to shape compelling narratives around Lottery products and funded programs
  • Work closely with Lottery’s dynamic digital marketing team of designers, producers, and developers to create engaging, customer-first digital content

You Have:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree and three (3) years of experience creating digital marketing content across multiple channels; OR
  • Five (5) years of experience creating digital marketing content across multiple channels.

Desired Experience and Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge of Oregon - Preference will be given to candidates living in Oregon or Washington
  • Experience with writing in various contexts (social media, marketing copy, email, blog)
  • Experience with WordPress or other CMS
