This role will be responsible for supporting the Corporate Marketing lead with website content management, integrated campaigns, brand events and brand scorecards. The primary focus of this role is managing the Otis-branded, global- and corporate-level website properties for ongoing excellence in brand reputation.  The secondary focus is managing the brand scorecard.  This position regularly interacts with and supports global colleagues.  The successful candidate will work with executive-level stakeholders to identify their needs, translate them into compelling content and quickly revise the website and other media channels. The role calls for creating new and exciting content, delivering it and measuring its success, and quickly adjusting for new plans. 

Responsibilities include:

Corporate Marketing

  • Supports the Corporate Marketing lead for new content and delivery into digital media channels.
  • Works collaboratively with stakeholders including outside agencies, communications, IT, HR, IR and marketing teams to create a content strategy that reaches all of Otis’ audiences in the most compelling ways; provides content updates for the site, including recruiting information, earnings announcements and information from analyst calls. 
  • Create the strategy and manages day-to-day operations of the corporate website, ensuring brand compliance, consistent, integrated communications, and an excellent user experience.

Website Content and Reporting Management

  • Researches and gathers data to support website initiatives; Organizes and presents data in a meaningful way that ties research to overall business goals and objectives
  • Leads and manages the website and digital properties metrics for continuous improvement and best practices.
  • Create new designs and layouts to further enhance the target audience's experience.
  • Manages incoming requests for website content; partners with communications teams across regions to set priorities and integrate website content requests and updates to create a unified experience for all Otis audiences, and modifies content as needed to effectively reach different audiences.
  • Monitors website to ensure brand compliance, brand quality and consistency of tone, style and voice; Assists with content development for existing page templates and recommends new designs to create a best-in-class user experience.
  • Creates and manages an editorial calendar to sequence and synchronize website content.
  • Integrates global web administrators to help coordinate and elevate the global digital brand experience.
  • Support of the day-to-day corporate Otis.com channel activities. Day-to-day activities include creating and launching new or updated pages, copy, imagery, and other types of content. Other daily activities may be included to support the maintenance of the corporate Otis.com pages.
  • Assistance with planning, developing and the launch of new content or pages on Leadership, Careers, Newsroom, Global stories, and other key areas of the Otis.com site to accelerate the pace of our content posting; assistance with the planning and change or removal of old/dated content.
  • Manage the 80+ site translation process for new content in coordination with Corporate Marketing, D. T. and the country site administrators.
  • Create and deliver Otis.com training, as needed, to functional and regional stakeholders about corporate content.
  • Support the strategy, development, governance, and delivery of SEO in coordination with agencies and Corporate Marketing. Manage ongoing SEO strategy for continuous presence in key markets.
  • Works to build website goals, metrics tracking and reporting for website performance; Utilizes data analytics and translates metrics into recommended action plans for changes to improve the website experience, including content layout and placement.
  • Proactively communicate through presentations and emails for greater awareness and adoption of the website channel.

Education/Certifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in either Marketing, Marketing Communications, Creative Design, IT, or a related discipline is required; a master’s degree is preferred

Basic Qualifications

  • Seven-plus years in Website Management, Digital Marketing, Marketing Management or Communications
  • Three-plus years of experience in executive-level facilitation and support
  • Three-plus years of experience in managing cross-functional, deadline-driven projects to be on time, within budget and to a high level of professional output
  • Five-plus years in developing and managing content specific to the website
  • Three-plus years in supporting integrated campaigns that include digital media delivery
  • Five-plus years supporting key performance indicator reporting, as well as experience in combining data to create scorecards
  • Knowledge of website, marketing automation, and CRM data combination for effective, real-time performance reporting
  • A creative thinker who thinks outside the box about how to build a brand story and bring it to life
  • An advocate of metrics and analytics with a demonstrated ability to quantify the business impact of communications and campaigns
  • Experience working in various content management and reporting systems, including SharePoint, Liferay and Google Analytics
  • Sound judgement
  • Self-motived, with a bias for action
  • Works well under pressure, manages multiple deadlines and conflicting priorities either individually or as a member of a team
  • Effective listener and problem solver
  • Adept at balancing the tactical and strategic nature of the role
