Job description

About Pave

Here at Pave, you’ll be joining a world class team at the ground floor. We’re a Series A start-up backed by top Silicon Valley investors Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Y Combinator, and Bessemer VP. The world of compensation is broken today. Pave is here to fix it. Today, teams cobble together hundreds of messy spreadsheets and outdated compensation surveys to determine how to compensate their workforce. At Pave, you will reinvent the world of compensation and help build a more transparent future of work. Pave allows companies to benchmark compensation to leaders in their industry, analyze internal compensation data, then visually communicate compensation to their employees.

The Role

Pave is building out a world-class marketing organization, and looking to bring on it’s first Content Marketing hire to help us grow! We’re looking for a strategic & collaborative Content Marketing Manager who has a love for telling great stories and enjoys working cross-functionally to produce amazing content. From blog posts and emails, to whitepapers, case studies, and our corporate website, you’ll help us define and shape our narrative, producing engaging stories our prospects and customers love.

Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, you’ll be hands-on, working closely to define the brand, refining our voice and tone to help showcase our amazing suite of products. If you love telling compelling stories, we want to talk to you!

Primary Responsibilities

  • Help to create a compelling brand narrative, shaping it into the DNA of all marketing for the company.
  • Write, create, and execute the content roadmap, owning asset production and storytelling for our various products.
  • Develop a deep knowledge of Pave, partnering closely with Product, Sales, Demand Gen, and Product Marketing to hone in on the value we bring to our various personas.
  • Work closely with Demand Gen to produce high-performing assets in a multitude of formats including blogs, eBooks, infographics, videos, case studies, and more.
  • Help to define and evangelize a consistent brand & message both internally and externally.

About You

  • Minimum 3 years of marketing experience developing & creating content, ideally in the technology space.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a track record of effective content management.
  • Exceptional storyteller, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Experience working in B2B SaaS or HR Tech is a plus.

Life at Pave

Pave is growing incredibly fast, and we certainly work hard. In true work hard play hard fashion, we've complimented our ambitious goals with a world-class culture and a variety of early startup benefits. As an early hire you’ll play a key role in shaping what this looks like, but some of the benefits that we already offer include:

Compensation: Competitive salary and startup equity (it's in our DNA).

Wellness: Top-tier health insurance along with exercise & wellness benefits.

Food: All meals while working, plus snacks. We take our snacking seriously.

Tech: Choose your laptop, monitor and accessories of choice.

Team: Retreats, happy hours, and events for our team, friends, and family.

Flexible Time Off: Take the time you need.

And much more... we want all Pave employees to define the best benefits based on our combined interests!
