Government procurement is a busy space, but our vision and approach set us apart from other players in the ecosystem. We are hiring our first Content Marketer to lead the translation of our mission into content that informs, educates, and engages our users. In this role, you will be responsible for not only building out the overall content strategy, but also planning, designing, creating, editing, and publishing relevant content based on the company's business objectives and users' needs. You’ll lead content development across the following areas:
Growth Marketing: Leverage content to drive user acquisition across channels, with a strong focus on SEO, and Field Marketing such as webinars and in-person events.
Product Marketing: Introduce our new product features to our users in an easy-to-understand and compelling way.
Brand Marketing: Develop content in partnership with our PR agency to bring our brand values and character to life, especially as we have recently launched a company rebrand.
Develop the content roadmap and calendar to align with product strategy.
Write high-quality content in various formats such as videos, webinars, whitepapers, blog posts, SEO articles, social media posts and more.
Lead the end-to-end content creation process, including managing project timelines, researching topics, writing high-quality content pieces, seeking feedback from internal stakeholders, and ensuring a robust distribution strategy.
Establish goals and metrics to measure the quality of content, audience growth, engagement, and content reach and extensively analyze problems to seek an understanding of the underlying issues in alignment with overarching business strategy.
Stay up to date on the emerging trends and needs within the government procurement market and update content strategies / roadmap accordingly.
Hire and coach our content marketing team in the future.
Demonstrated experience in technology content marketing and developing engaging content across a variety of channels.
Exceptional writing and editing skills, with demonstrated success in translating complex concepts into easy-to-understand and relatable content for a variety of audiences.
Ability to develop content vision, roadmap, and measurement plans that align with product strategy and drive awareness, engagement, and action with our target audiences.
Experience using analytics to determine the impact and effectiveness of content programs.
Demonstrated success in developing high-performing editorial SEO content.
Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external subject matter experts.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage a content calendar and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Highly organized and self-motivated individual who will oversee timely, first-rate execution.
