We are currently seeking a full-time User-Experience (UX) Writer to join our team. The UX Writer will ensure positive user experience through quality content that meet both business and client requirements.

Essential Functions/ Responsibilities

  1. Stay current with industry trends, tools, standards and practices.
  2. Craft concise, clear, consistent, quality copy to help a user through a digital, transactional experience with a small amount of product real estate
  3. Work closely with product owners, managers, researchers, business analysts, technical architects, developers, and designers to conceptualize solutions that are engaging, technically feasible and meet established requirements
  4. Work both independently and collaboratively with tight deadlines and multi-task efficiently in high volume, fast-paced setting
  5. Understand and interpret UX artifacts such as user flows, journeys, personas and wireframes

Supervisory Responsibility

This role has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Education and Experience

  1. 3+ years of professional UX writing/content strategy experience for digital, transactional products in client-side or agency-side settings
  2. A solid understanding of how quality content supports and enhances the user experience across a range of digital products and in various formats (e.g., error messages and alerts, onboarding, interface copy, etc.)
  3. Experience working with chatbots
  4. Understanding of plain language and how to develop and apply voice and tone
  5. Understanding of Responsive Web Design and Mobile First
  6. Passion for interactive technology and eagerness to collaborate with creative people
  7. Strong organizational and communication skills (listening and presenting) and ability to confidently present to a variety of audience types and seniority levels
  8. Experience collaborating in-person with co-located Agile project teams as well as collaborating virtually with geographically distributed team members
  9. Ability to define editorial standards and apply them consistently
  10. Proofreading with an eagle eye for detail

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones.

Physical Demands

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, during normal business hours. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.


Travel up to 5% may be required depending on business needs.
