At PayPal, Content Designers work side by side with UX Designers, Product Owners, and UX Researchers to create customer experiences that empower people and businesses financially around the world.

Your day-to-day

In your day-to-day role, you will

• Plan, design and write U.S. English content for merchant product experiences (across all touch points including logged in, app, navigation and UI, notifications, and email)
• Understand the audience(s) for your content and how our products help them
• Present your work and articulate your approach to teammates, product owners, and other stakeholders
• Collaborate with Design on layout, interactions, and visual tone, ensuring we create a consistent end-to-end experience
• Ensure that your content aligns with legal and compliance requirements, including preparing your work for legal submission
• Use data and research to evaluate your content's impact, and push for continuous improvement that shows real results
• Maintain and evolve PayPal's content standards, including voice and tone.

What Do You Need To Bring

Extensive experience writing content for interactive user experiences as part of a product design team Experience writing about financial services, payments, B2B is preferred Excellent, highly creative writing and critical-thinking skills Experience working with content standards, such as style and voice and tone guidelines Fluency with Figma required Experience with generative AI tools a plus At ease managing multiple projects, setting stakeholder expectations, working individually and collaborating across teams Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Design, Information Science or related fields is appreciated, but not required.
