Meet Our Team:

Pega’s Content Marketing team creates industry-leading content that fuels Pega's marketing engine and drives awareness of the Pega brand. Working with the customer experience side of the team, you will get to tell the stories Pega’s customers and prospects want to hear. This is a unique opportunity to be a crucial part of both new and existing content programs, creating content that moves the needle like never before.

You’ll drive and execute content strategies by unearthing, crafting, and promoting stories that engage our audiences and inspire them to act. You’re the type of person that loves to talk tech, knowing when to stay high level and when to get into the weeds. You’re excellent at bringing together subject matter experts, content producers, and channel teams to deliver exceptional experiences across customer journeys. You’re into data and analysis, always looking to improve content performance and adapt the content plans to optimize results. And above all, you have a passion for what you do.

What You'll Do at Pega:

  • Produce high-value content
  • Manage and create content, working with creative resources and subject matter experts to support business objectives and emerging topics
  • Track and report on deliverables and ensure that all stakeholders are held accountable
  • Identify content requirements
  • Develop engaging content strategies and experiences
  • Collaborate with product marketing, industry, and regional marketing teams to inform content needs
  • Continuously improve content, from recommending new asset types to thoughtfully editing pieces from internal contributors
  • Work with the content operations team to regularly assess content performance
  • Make recommendations to enhance content process and development

Who You Are:

You’re an accomplished, tech-savvy marketer who likes to captivate audiences with compelling insights and persuasive stories. You challenge existing thinking and have a knack for driving cross-functional engagement. You focus on quality, and you’re a strong team player, willing to roll up your sleeves to help get work done. Collaboration is a pillar of your working style but you’re also able to problem solve on your own when necessary.

What You've Accomplished:

  • 5-8 years experience in a content marketing, social media marketing, journalism, field marketing, or marketing programs role
  • An editorial mindset that seeks to understand different audiences and how to connect with them
  • Excellent writing skills and experience with creating a variety of asset types (blog posts, eBooks, email copy, video scripts, etc.)
  • Ability to partner and build relationships with thought leaders
  • Experience working with freelancers and agencies
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in B2B and/or enterprise software marketing
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration and flexibility to work effectively with people at all levels
  • Experience building relationships with channel teams: social media, paid media, digital, etc.
  • Project management skills and the ability to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment
