Perficient currently has a career opportunity for a Senior Content Strategist, working remotely from any location in the continental US.

As a Senior Content Strategist, you will be a part of Perficient's Digital Marketing Practice. You will have responsibility for the success of client relationships, acting as the consultant advising clients on digital content strategy, content marketing programs and/or content development initiatives that align to their business goals.

The ideal candidate will seamlessly blend strong client management skills with creative digital, email and content marketing prowess, rooted in a sound understanding of client target audiences, competitive market dynamics, brand guidelines, and overall goals and objectives. Experience in market research (such as persona and customer journey development) or social media are also a plus.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading or co-leading client engagements that include a content marketing strategy, email marketing strategy, market research or content development program focus.
  • Developing content strategies and programs in collaboration with the client, other internal stakeholders and lines of business on program execution. In doing so, you will act as trusted adviser on content efforts, leveraging insights about their business challenges and opportunities as inputs.
  • Recommending new initiatives that drive future client growth, and provide an experience that culminates in innovative, results-oriented work product.
  • Delivering content programs and projects on time and on budget. Critical to this position is your ability to analyze project requirements, organize and prioritize tasks, identify risks early, and manage the content program process efficiently.
  • Providing direction and oversight to multi-disciplinary team members supporting content program execution, and guiding their efforts through the entire project lifecycle.

Qualifications include:

  • 8+ years of experience managing corporate and/or client content marketing programs.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage digital content programs through the entire project lifecycle, including strategy, planning, execution, reporting, and maintenance. Example digital content programs include content audits and migrations, content strategies, optimized web content development, and integrated content marketing programs that may include email marketing, social marketing, influencer marketing, etc.
  • Experience working with clients and internal stakeholders to develop content program plans, creative briefs and professional communications.
  • Proven success managing and delivering content programs with a data-driven approach, and general experience applying those capabilities within different web environments, such as content management systems, marketing automation systems, and mobile apps.
  • Experience setting and communicating priorities to project teams, while managing multiple, often fast-paced projects simultaneously.
  • Client-centric work ethic and ability to motivate and foster a sense of teamwork among project team members and the client.
  • The professionalism, confidence and attention to detail necessary to earn the respect of client executives, peers and project team members.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Perficient full-time employees receive complete and competitive benefits. We offer a collaborative work environment, competitive compensation, generous work/life opportunities and an outstanding benefits package that includes paid time off plus holidays.
