About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and creative Senior UX Copywriter to join our team and help shape the way users interact with our digital products. In this role, you will be responsible for creating clear, concise, and engaging copy for a wide variety of user interfaces across web and mobile platforms. You will work closely with UX designers, researchers, product managers, and developers to ensure that our products not only function flawlessly but are also intuitive and enjoyable for our users. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of user-centered design, excellent writing skills, and a proven ability to create copy that enhances the user experience, while also reflecting the voice and tone of the brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside UX designers, product managers, and developers to understand user needs and product goals.
  • Partner with researchers to leverage insights from user testing and analytics to inform copy decisions.
  • Ensure consistency in the voice and tone across all touchpoint of the user journey.
  • Create UI copy, microcopy (e.g., buttons, error messages, tooltips), and product messaging that guides users through their tasks efficiently.
  • Develop user-facing copy for onboarding flows, notifications, forms, and instructional content.
  • Produce clear and concise copy that aligns with brand guidelines while enhancing the usability of the product.
  • Tailor copy to different audiences and contexts, ensuring an empathetic and user-friendly approach.
  • Evolve the voice and tone of the product based on user feedback and changing market dynamics.
  • Work closely with the content strategy team to define content priorities, mapping them to user needs and business objectives.
  • Continuously test and optimize UX copy based on performance data (A/B testing, user feedback, etc.).
  • Use analytics tools to assess how copy impacts user behavior and propose data-driven copy improvements.
  • Participate in wireframing and prototyping to define the copy’s place within the interface.
  • Advocate for UX writing within the company, ensuring that copy is prioritized as part of the overall user experience.

Qualifications:

Experience:

5+ years of experience in UX writing, product copywriting, or content strategy, with a strong portfolio demonstrating UX-focused content.

Proven experience working on digital products such as websites, mobile apps, and SaaS platforms.

Skills & Expertise:

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and the role of copy in creating seamless user experiences.
  • Ability to distill complex ideas into simple, user-friendly language.
  • Experience with design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, InVision) and familiarity with prototyping processes.

Communication:

Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to present and defend your writing choices to stakeholders.

Comfortable with working in cross-functional teams and contributing to broader product strategy discussions.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

Nice-To-Have:

  • Experience with localization or writing for global audiences.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and writing for inclusive experiences.
  • Proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, or other UX research and testing tools.
