Job description
Point Blanc Media is seeking an innovative and results-driven Digital Content Strategist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and executing content strategies that align with the company’s or client’s business objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of digital content marketing, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively across various digital platforms. The role is hybrid with up to 2 days on-site (flexible)
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Strategy Development: Craft tailored content strategies to meet the business objectives of the company or clients, including short- and long-term content roadmaps.
- Content Planning & Analysis: Perform competitor analyses, conduct content audits, and identify gaps and opportunities to inform strategic content direction for each project.
- Content Creation & Ideation: Develop engaging content for social media, email, websites, and other digital marketing channels. Generate creative, out-of-the-box ideas to enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Client Meetings & Collaboration: Shadow senior team members during client meetings to understand client objectives and ensure alignment on content strategies.
- Creative Collaboration: Work closely with the design team to coordinate visual assets and ensure cohesive storytelling across content and creative outputs.
- Client & Community Management Coordination: Collaborate with clients and community managers to ensure messaging resonates with target audiences, managing feedback and fostering a cohesive digital community presence.
- Reporting: Collaborate with team to prepare reporting presentations.
- Project Management: Manage multiple ad hoc web or paid projects as needed, demonstrating multitasking skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year experience in digital content strategy, social media, or digital marketing
- Proficiency in Sprout Social for scheduling, monitoring, and reporting is a plus
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a creative flair
- Familiarity with coordinating creative teams and client communication
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
