Job description

About Predictably Human:

Predictably Human is a collaboration of diverse minds working to solve some of society's greatest health challenges. We ideate, innovate, and create connected digital precision medical and therapeutic solutions. We are confronting the status quo and tackling social healthcare challenges through technology, precision medicine and strategic thinking. Our Team is made up of the brightest minds working to push the frontiers of precision healthcare.

We are looking for a content strategist who is passionate about empowering people to improve their health and change their lives. You’ll work with technical minds, leaders in the clinical and medical fields, and proven operators, and your challenge (if you choose to accept it) is to add your genius to their deep knowledge to create an experience for users that is approachable, educational, engaging, delightful, and empowering.

The ideal candidate will be interested in how people learn, how patterns are created, psychology, and behavioral sciences. You will be key in teaching users therapeutic, medical concepts and learning skills which will change their habits and improve their health over time.

As a part of this team you’ll need to be a self-starter who can think through full user flows with very little oversight - information architecture experience is a plus. You’ll need to be comfortable with ambiguity, because we’re building this together, from the ground up. Finally, you’ll need to be ready to try new things, learn, and then try again - humility, positivity, and a sense of humor will be very valuable.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable leading user research and getting user feedback in formal and informal ways. The more feedback we can get on what we’re creating (early and often) the better our product will become. In a perfect world, this person can lead research and communicate their findings to the rest of the team so we all learn together.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Create and evolve our voice - The voice and personality you design will build trust and relationships with our users that will help them live healthier, happier lives. Your product will be a positive and encouraging support system that helps humans grow through failures and never feel discouraged.
  • Program flows and content creation - Build, populate, maintain and iterate user flows and content for evolving and long-term therapeutic programs with the baseline of proven research and deep clinical
  • User research - Lead the process of getting content and flows in front of people, consolidate findings, and communicate/educate the internal team on findings.
  • Competitive research - We’re new, but many of these concepts arent. We are looking to you to identify benchmarks, best practices, and then make us better than all of them.
  • Learn with us - You’ll be included and welcomed to join clinical research visits. [When the world is open and you’re comfortable] we’ll be traveling to different research centers, shadowing live sessions, and learning the in-person treatments.
  • Work cross-functionally - As an equal partner with our growing product and engineering teams we expect you to build a point of view, defend the user, and collaborate well with a multidisciplinary team to constantly balance the more:better:faster ratio.
  • Very limited ego - We’re building a team and ego has no place on a team. We want to disagree early, commit fully, and be excited to learn (even if we learned we were wrong).

Required Skills:

  • A portfolio that demonstrates strong writing skills, a strong plus if you can show how you’ve evolved a complex and/or technical process into a simplified user flow.
  • Capable of driving high-quality content strategy deliverables such as personas, competitive studies, and content audits.
  • Reliable multi-tasker and time manager. You understand when to be thorough, when to use the 80/20 rule, and when to ask if you’re not sure.

Education and Experience:

  • 10+ years of professional content strategy experience
  • A bachelor’s degree in English, psychology, communications, marketing, or a related field is preferred
