This position calls for a strategist who understands the data, consumes creative content across all social channels and can contextualize and help influence ideas for paid, earned and owned channels. You embrace and encourage collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams (Creative, Client Service, Ops, Production and sometimes other agency partners!) and can distill information into cohesive, impactful and actionable insights, creative brief(s) and a communications strategy that ensures brand positioning, architecture, tone of voice and messaging goals are met.

Job Responsibilities

  • Own and craft the comms strategy presentations to clients grounded in brand objectives, audience insights, platform requirements, competitive landscape and trends.
  • Lead in crafting moment-based strategies for quick-turn execution

  • Partner with media agency to develop insights and action plan for future creative briefs and growth opportunities.
  • Content and messaging strategy experience, especially for social media and web content.
  • Solid working knowledge of current/evolving SEO practices and processes, including how to create search-optimized content and metadata.

Social Media and Channel Planning:

  • You have experience leading a social media account and can outline a strategy for speaking to our audience, attracting new followers and developing messages that not only tell an impactful story, but also get the reader to react in some way.
  • You have experience developing and managing the execution of a multi-channel content calendar based on audience insight, and client business cycle and objectives.
  • Work directly with creative team and/or content creator, and account management team to influence creative & media briefs upstream.
  • Oversee the timely development and execution of plans, campaigns and projects to assure brand earnings and growth.

Team Leadership:

  • Well versed in structuring and leading creative brainstorms in order to adhere to overall creative strategy.
  • Ability to create a fun, inspirational and collaborative environment with internal teams and client teams
  • Highly refined writing, editing and presentation skills. Comfortable presenting to large client teams.

  Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years in communications planning or related role. (Media and creative agency experience preferred.)
  • Passion for creative that lives in the entertainment and cocktail space/culture. (You’re always trend-hunting and following brand stories. You think beyond the expected and push the work - creatively and strategically - to grow the brand.)
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills.
  • Deep understanding of the media landscape (Including social & digital).
  • You are a strategic thinker - not just consider tactics, but the overall strategy across all channels and apply that strategy to implement the most impactful work in owned and paid channels – specifically IG and FB.
  • Experience in drawing insights from supplied media and brand tracking reports supplied by the brand and media partner.
  • Ability to work independently on a project or in a cross-functional team environment.
