Our team is growing:

Provide’s Marketing team is looking for a collaborative, strategic, and detail-oriented marketer to bring Provide’s brand to life through meaningful, well-crafted content. In this role, you will focus on leading and executing Provide’s content marketing strategy in support of marketing and business objectives; serving as an expert internal resource relied on for collaboration and consultation when it comes to content development; strategically using SEO and best practices to improve overall engagement with current and potential customers; and continually evolving the depth, breadth, and overall quality of Provide’s online presence.

As a Provide and Fifth Third Bank team member, you will be responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. You will be accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues and ensuring that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the risk appetites of Provide and Fifth Third Bank, you will be expected to achieve results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

A day in the life: 

  • Lead and manage an industry-leading SEO and content strategy that leverages industry trends, established best practices and best-in-class content.
  • Execute and refine content strategy.
  • Manage editorial and content calendars, ensuring overarching themes are relevant to key audiences and distribution is consistent across multiple platforms.
  • Create and repurpose high-quality content in various formats.
  • Stay up-to-date on content trends and audience consumption preferences.
  • Own content asset library and any needed content training for internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor content performance, and share insights with Marketing and key stakeholders, creating a feedback loop informing overall content strategy.
  • Review any external-facing content to ensure consistency with brand voice and key messaging.
  • Work closely with the Creative team and Marketing Managers to create holistic, effective marketing plans.
  • Develop, oversee, and implement standards, systems and processes for content creation, maintenance, and optimization that align with Marketing and overarching Bancorp standards, and SEO best practices.
  • Analyze, review, and report on the effectiveness of SEO and content tactics, overall engagement, and bank authority in an effort to maximize results across channels.
  • Monitor and evaluate industry activity and trending topics to inform ongoing SEO and content optimizations, and inform internal stakeholders and other decision makers accordingly.
  • Other duties as assigned

Our newest teammate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or other related field and/or equivalent work-related experience
  • Seven or more years of experience in content marketing, preferably B2B and B2C
  • Understanding of how to write for humans versus search engines
  • Proficiency in common marketing tools, social platforms, and Google Analytics
  • Experience in SEO and optimization of content across various platforms
  • Expertise in the online space (web, email, search, podcasting, blogging, etc.) and demonstrated knowledge of fundamental digital marketing distribution
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities within specified timeframes

Bonus points for: 

  • Experience writing about financial products
  • Experience writing and/or marketing to healthcare providers, specifically in the dental and/or veterinary space
