A career in Sales and Marketing, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to focus on positioning a distinctive PwC brand in the marketplace and drive long term revenue growth for the Firm. You’ll focus on designing, developing, and implementing communication programmes and media events to promote and sell the PwC’s brand and services as well as contribute to and evaluating our pricing strategies in the marketplace.

Our Thought Leadership team helps our professionals deliver targeted thought leadership to our clients on relevant business topics. As part of the team, you’ll support PwC with brand positioning, business marketing, and sales efforts through publications and speeches.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates thought leader-level knowledge with, and/or a proven record of success, directing efforts in the understanding of products, case studies, alliances, industry, business and management trends and issues in the following areas:

  • Following industry trends and new thinking, in the development and delivery of Thought Leadership;
  • Driving competitive positioning of content (in various formats and channels, including newsletters, web copy, and overall messaging) produced by professional services organizations and top tier media companies;
  • Managing key business issues our clients are facing, as they relate to our firm's capabilities, product offerings, brand positioning, and growth plans; and,
  • Exhibiting proven track record in publishing, via portfolio of written work.

Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts leading and being a strategic business partner for a professional services firm, emphasizing the following:

  • Framing core ideas (developmental editorial), writing, and editing content on business issues;
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously, leveraging a complex, matrix organizational structure and establishing priorities serving a diverse stakeholder group;
  • Communicating with senior leadership in a matrixed organization, while managing stakeholder expectations;
  • Conducting independent research, including conducting interviews, and partnering with internal resources to help develop our distinctive point of view on specific topics that impact the financial services industry;
  • Translating industry trends and product features into understandable summaries for all channels, including white papers, video interviews, digital interactive content, webinars, and social media;
  • Forming an actionable plan to drive forward change that aligns with strategic vision of the team;
  • Managing and coaching junior staff, including facilitating training sessions;
  • Approaching projects with intellectual curiosity using an analytical and quantitative mindset, including performing analytics of large datasets;
  • Learning and adapting to new ways of thinking and presenting content, including helping our team develop content for the digital age – blogging, videos, interactive graphics, etc.;
  • Establishing that content aligns with business goals and adheres to Firm brand standards, style guides, as well as risk and compliance guidelines;
  • Taking on willingly various roles and assignments, demonstrating flexibility when priorities change;
  • Presenting findings succinctly, in written, verbal, and charts/infographics forms, to illustrate key messages and trends;
  • Helping shape the strategy for content marketing, thought leadership in the firm, to more closely align the work, processes, and operations of the Integrated Content organization to the firm's goals; and,
  • Leading in learning new tools to apply new techniques in the development and delivery of content.
