Job description

The Content Marketing Specialist will create and manage content used across multiple marketing platforms, supporting QGenda’s marketing strategy and objectives. You will shape the content strategy, determining the voice and content forms that will be shared through multiple channels. You will think strategically about how content can be used to tell a story, communicate a value proposition or solve a problem. Then, with the marketing team, plan how that content can be used to drive leads, opportunities or navigate a prospect through the sales process.

The ideal candidate will love to write and have outstanding communication skills. You have experience with creating and managing content for digital marketing and understand how to use content to drive results in healthcare. You can take something complex and make it simple. You also have a keen ability to understand the complexities of healthcare technology and translate capabilities into compelling stories that captivate an audience. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop a content plan and strategy that supports the marketing objectives.
  • Present QGenda as a thought leader in the healthcare space.
  • Create content including blog posts, case studies, white papers, eGuides, social media posts, videos, infographics, product sheets and more.
  • Write copy that is used for other marketing initiatives that may include website development, infographics, and video creation.
  • Conduct research to identify stories and topics for content creation.
  • Work with customers and industry thought leaders to capture stories and translate them into multiple resources that can be used for a variety of marketing initiatives.
  • Document and share stories in a way that captivates our target audience and drives engagement.
  • Work with the design manager to bring content to life.
  • Work with product marketing to align communication efforts to our market and product strategy.
  • Work with journalists and agencies to manage PR and deliver content for press releases and publication.
  • Work with the marketing team to deliver content through multiple channels, drive engagement and measure results.

  • Experience writing for the healthcare market
  • Experience writing to position technology solutions
  • Strong “figure it out mentality”, creative-thinking, interpretation and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to identify stories, conduct interviews
  • Organized with ability to follow-up on and manage details  
  • Team player
  • Strong leadership skills  

Education / Professional Certifications or Licenses Required:

Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent industry experience. 

Experience Requirements: 

  • 3+ years of marketing or content marketing experience required
  • Must provide writing samples 

Work Environment / Physical demands/ Travel Requirements:

  • Computer-based and telephone work environment. 
  • Sitting and standing for extended periods
  • Lifting of 10-15 pounds
  • 5% travel
