We are looking for experienced Technical Writers to join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer. This program will deliver engineering services network infrastructure as well as for sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure including end-point devices, data center hosted servers, multi-Cloud services as well as virtualized applications, and storage systems. Enterprise Computing Engineering services include modern application technology including containerized solutions with orchestrated workflow that function both on customer premise, and via remote Cloud services. Network infrastructure engineering services are comprised of core infrastructure, voice and video engineering, field engineering, application management and development for networks, network analytics, firewalls, network access controls and bandwidth service delivery. This is a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding experience in which you are able to provide solutions to one of the most complex and high profile programs within this community.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

We are actively seeking an experienced candidate with a minimum of 6 years experience, Bachelor's or Master’s Degree are preferred in one or more of the disciplines described below where specific skills may include the following:

  • Planning, developing, writing, and editing technical documents such as technical procedure manuals, user manuals, programming manuals, service manuals, operational specifications, and related technical publications to communicate clearly and effectively technical specifications and instructions to a wide range of audiences.
  • Working with software development teams to gather data for developing and maintaining the needed product documentation.
  • Using style guides and associated DoD/Mil-Standards for document production, and understanding customer requirements related to writing task assignments
  • Using technical data and engineering specifications (drawings, A-level specifications, test procedures, etc.) or commercial sources to translate data into user documentation
  • Conducting quality reviews of materials.
  • Using a document management system to store, manage, and track program documentation
  • Strong skills with MS Office

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Exposure to Agile Development is a plus
  • Understanding of basic networking, enterprise computing, and cloud technologies
