As UX Writer you will be part of a complete Design Ops team with specialists in research, illustration, visual and interaction, in addition to working with other designers allocated in the squads, there are more than 20 people, super team, eh?

The people on the Design team at RD Station are empowered to experiment and apply different methodologies throughout each initiative. We believe in and encourage you to take the lead in your role in the Chapter.

Its role will be to simplify the complexity of the product for the user, facilitating understanding and communication through the improvement of texts and tone of voice in RD Station products. It will contribute to the design process to deeply understand the needs of our users and will be responsible for acting on the standardization and education of our communication guidelines between different areas, 

Profile the team is looking for:

  • Previous experience in UX Writer position in digital product design teams;
  • Mastery of the principles of writing, tone of voice and information architecture consistently applied to digital products;
  • Knowledge of different approaches within the stages of the product design and development process.

Features that add up to points…

  • Knowledge and practices of tests and experiments focused on text in digital products;
  • Experience in analyzing usability metrics, writing debts, product and/or business;
  • Experience with agile delivery methodologies, Scrum or Kanban;
  • English or Spanish from intermediate level (speaking, reading and writing);
  • Being (or wanting to become) an active person in the community, who shares knowledge inside and outside the company through events, articles, mentorships, volunteer initiatives, open source projects, etc.

Its main deliveries:

  • Apply Information Architecture concepts and text improvements in RD Station products; 
  • Participate in surveys, interviews with users, create scripts for validation of writing, terms and concepts;
  • Alignment with the Product, Product Marketing and Support teams, ensuring that communication is standardized inside and outside the RD;
  • Follow our Design principles : seek the essence, challenge the status quo and attract for authenticity.
