The UX Writer is responsible for providing strategic and tactical UX support to the client’s product development team. If you are a UX professional who enjoys working on large-scale projects and developing relationships with many stakeholders, this position is for you!
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop UX strategy and technology roadmaps for software applications design and development across multiple platforms and products
Provide recommendations on cost, timeline, and philosophy to determine the appropriate design or research methodology to apply to an outstanding research question
Provide consultation, design input and feedback for application development and design reviews across multiple organizations and architectures
Communicate strategy and technology roadmaps to executive staff, industry partners and customers; leverage recognized technical and business expertise to influence, guide, and shape business strategy and decision-making at executive management levels
Provide innovative solutions to complex and critically sensitive issues affecting multiple disciplines and work groups
Determine and pursue courses of action essential in accomplishing business objectives
Integrate advanced technology, theories or techniques that have a significant continued impact across disciplines and business units
Serve as a knowledge base on specific projects or programs
Provide mentoring and guidance to junior-level designers/researchers/developers
Perform other duties as needed
Job Requirements
Education and Experience: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Systems or a related field
12-15 years of experience in a UX design/research role
Experience in software development
Experience conducting usability testing, stakeholder collaboration and use of multiple research methods
Qualifications:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for clear, inclusive, and collaborative feedback
Working knowledge of different design tools e.g., Figma
Self-organized, with the ability to work with several scrum-teams
Driving collaboration across multiple teams in different time zones
Demonstrated strong ability to remotely work well within a team environment, or independently; strong interpersonal and teamwork skills; ability to work and interact effectively with team members from other disciplines, cultures, and organizations
Ability to take initiative to ask questions, ask for help, or provide updates, without reluctance
Ability to meet the eligibility requirements for working in the US without RLA sponsorship for employment visa status
Strong computer skills that include proficiency with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio), Teams and SharePoint
Language Skills
Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
