Content Designer

Russell Tobin's client, a global social technology company, is hiring a content designer to work remotely

We're looking for a content designer to help support terminology and content quality work at client's. In this role, you will ensure content quality across client products by employing strong judgment, engaging in GenAI prompt engineering for terminology and other content standards, fine-tuning processes, annotating GenAI output and executing creative solutions.

Employment Type: Contract/Remote

Pay rate: $65-$70/hr. DOE

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate quality of term documentation in accordance with provided terminology quality heuristics.
• Create and test multiple AI prompts to help generate and improve terminology usage notes
• Suggest improvements to current methodology and provide feedback to the process on an ongoing basis

Requirements:

• A degree in English, linguistics, journalism, information architecture, library science or related
• TerminologyGenAI experience of 6+ months
• Have a background in linguistics or library science, and/or experience with content standards, style guides and terminology
• 4+ years working with content, including style guides or terminology
• 6+ months experience working in Generative AI, prompt engineering and annotation
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills and impeccable track record of editorial judgment around nuanced term usage to quality control large datasets of annotations used for model training
• Enjoy working with data to identify opportunities to improve processes

Nice to have:

• Experience with terminology or linguistics
• Experience with knowledge management
• Spreadsheets focused – ability to annotate
