Our mission is to empower people to make confident decisions. With our unique set of brands, including Uswitch, Confused.com, Money.co.uk and Mojo, we have the power to reach millions of consumers and the technology to deliver a world-class online experience for them.

As an organisation we do this through designing personalised, customer-centric product experiences that reduces pain points customers experience when changing providers. As a design community, we are inclusive, we challenge convention, and we continuously innovate to deliver brand and product experiences that are widely recognised as market-leading.

What's the role?

Uswitch is the market-leading and most trusted brand that helps consumers understand more about their energy usage, safely navigate the current energy crisis and empower them to make confident decisions when switching to an energy provider that's most suited to their needs.

As a Senior Content Designer, your role is to meet our users’ needs by making sure that they see the right content, in the right place, and in the right format. You will work closely with our user researchers, product designers, and the wider design community to help craft end-to-end journeys that help consumers choose their home services providers such as energy, broadband and mobile phones.

What you will be doing:

  • Writing, designing, wireframing and iterating on user-centred content for end-to-end customer journeys
  • Creating UX content across a range of product experiences, i.e. microcopy, question-led journeys, tooltips, product pages
  • Working within multiple teams, collaborating with product designers and researchers to understand and fulfil user needs
  • Owning content quality and consistency across all web and app-based user journeys
  • Contributing best practices to our style guides, design patterns and design system
  • Advocating for content design within the wider organisation and measuring the success of your work
  • Supporting the development of other content designers

Requirements

  • Experience writing and designing user-centred content within a multidisciplinary agile setting
  • Experience with defining content strategies and building the right relationships to get buy-in
  • Strong understanding of UX principles
  • Passionate about good content design - you look forward to evangelising the power of content design every day to everyone around you
  • Exposure to user research and testing
  • Experience working autonomously

Our commitment to you:

At RVU we believe that we can be the change we wish to see in the world. We hold ourselves accountable for being open and inclusive teammates and community members. We embrace our differences and are committed to creating an inclusive environment that reflects the world we live in.
