Job Summary 

To create easy-to-understand user content and product documentation to increase product clarity, performance, and usability. 

Responsibilities:

  • Follow safe work practices and procedures, and ensure a “safety first” culture in every task undertaken
  • Work with internal teams to understand manufacturing documentation requirements
  • Create strong content that fulfils company standards and production audience goals
  • Write straight-forward work instructions and diagrams
  • Manage through planning, developing, organizing, writing and editing operational procedures and manuals
  • Analyze current content to maintain continuity and make improvements as necessary
  • Manage and process updates and revisions to technical literature
  • Perform any other duties as reasonably directed

 Minimum Position Requirements:

  • AS or AAS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent preferred
  • Proven experience working in a technical writing position
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Able to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences
  • Skilled in prioritization and multi-tasking
