Position Summary

Your role is focused on increasing both consumer and financial institution adoption of CD Valet as the most effective online platform for buying and selling Certificates of Deposit (CDs). This position includes developing and implementing the content strategy, interpreting data analytics, and converting these insights to help CD Valet increase consumer web traffic and online engagement. Additional responsibilities include supporting sales efforts to attract financial institutions to activate CD sales and account opening capabilities on CD Valet. As a lead content producer for CD Valet, you will work with marketing, business and information technology stakeholders and our external advertising and communications partners to build the CD Valet brand as the best online marketplace for CDs.  

This is an in-person position located in Seattle, WA.  

Requirements

  • Collaborate with web colleagues to optimize web content and improve traffic, engagement, and conversion through audits and identification of opportunities. 
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and impactful content by collaborating with stakeholders, content creators, publishers, and developers. 
  • Manage a content editorial calendar to amplify CD Valet key messages across multiple channels including social media platforms.
  • Assist with tracking social media metrics to identify growth and key trends. 
  • Conduct user research to align content plans with the web roadmap and maintenance schedule and understand user needs. 
  • Advise the CD Valet team on best practices for web copywriting, journey, and experience design. 
  • Incorporate keywords and metadata into the content strategy to improve search engine optimization. 
  • Collaborate with marketing colleagues to prioritize projects to meet the delivery dates for marketing initiatives. 
  • Use web analytics reporting to enhance recommendations for improving content and the user experience. 
  • Provide optimization advice for web copy, design, and assets, including proactive recommendations for on-site strategies such as pillar content. 
  • Coordinate content activation with paid media and social teams based on the campaign plan. 
  • Analyze content marketing data to anticipate customer and prospect needs and identify trends. 
  • Keep up to date with competitor sites, content strategy innovations, best practices, tools, and techniques, and document best practices to share with the team. 
  • Research new business opportunities and trends in the marketplace to identify sales leads, create strategies to drive sales and discover insights to shape and prioritize sales efforts.  
  • Prepare and maintain compelling marketing and business development collateral, including basic and highly tailored pitch materials. 
  • Support the CD Valet Business Development team’s pitch tracking and reporting activities. 
  • Participate in the successful production and execution of client events, speaking engagements, and sponsorships, including analyzing attendee lists, preparing mailing lists, creating tailored materials, supporting agreement follow-up, and tracking outcomes and activities in the CRM system. 

 We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Possess a creative and visionary mindset to identify long-term opportunities for CD Valet’s content strategy. 
  • Have excellent writing and editing skills and a commitment to error-free, fact-checked publishing compliant with relevant regulations. 
  • Have 3-5 years of relevant experience including but not limited to online publishing, website management, social media management, content strategy, editorial work, and digital marketing. 
  • Possess complex project management skills, including SEO, website content audit, inventory and strategy, and stakeholder alignment. 
  • Have experience in designing, building, migrating, refreshing, and localizing web content, and user experience design and research. 
  • Possess knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, and email marketing platforms.  
  • Have a background in writing, editing, and/or experience in design. 
  • Are familiar with web content marketing and production best practices, tools, and processes. 
  • Have persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal, with exceptional grammar, spelling, usage, and attention to detail. 
  • Have the ability to prioritize and balance competing demands, align priorities with overall corporate and marketing strategy, and build consensus among leadership and stakeholders while managing their expectations.

$80,000 - $100,000 per year
