CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS        

Sherwin-Williams America’s Group is in search of a Digital Content Marketing Specialist with 2+ years of professional digital marketing experience. The Digital Content Marketing Specialist will work within a robust eBusiness support team to help support varying content marketing initiatives to improve the Sherwin-Williams brand presence online, improve organic traffic and drive sales online and in-stores primarily through content management on Sherwin-williams.com using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, define and author improved content experiences on Sherwin-williams.com to improve customers’ experience, drive organic traffic and achieve strategic conversion-based KPIs defined by the business.
  • Develop expertise and provide content authoring support through our enterprise content management system Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) for all marketing, merchandising, and legal updates required throughout the site.
  • Help coordinate the execution of strategies that include content optimization, link building, website improvements, SEO, and other initiatives in support of the organic growth of the Sherwin-williams.com site.
  • Leverage internal and external analytics tools to measure and report on-site performance, troubleshoot and identify issues that might be affecting the overall organic traffic and rankings and identify and work through solutions toward organic improvement.
  • Support optimization processes for site content to ensure the availability of accurate and consistent information across online customer experiences and touchpoints
  • Interpreting performance dashboards that illustrate content performance metrics and developing recommendations for content improvements
  • Work cross-functionally with eBusiness, analytics, marcom, IT and data teams to effectively support the holistic marketing campaigns and tactics to improve customer experience, achieve business goals and increase organic traffic on Sherwin-williams.com

POSITION REQUIREMENTS 

FORMAL EDUCATION:

  •  Bachelor’s Degree required 

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience administering and working within content management systems (CMS)
  • Understanding of the digital marketing sphere consisting of digital content and creative development, SEO, SEM, paid support, social media, email marketing, analytics, etc
  • Ability to gather and synthesize conclusions from multiple sources of input (data, information from business stakeholders, client research, design, best practices, etc)
  • Experience managing a content or marketing calendar

TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience administering and working within content management systems (CMS)
  • Experience using Google Analytics
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and project leadership skills, especially manager-level communication and the ability to tell a compelling story.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of and experience with IBM WebSphere Commerce, Adobe Experience Manager
  • Experience using Figma
  • General knowledge of HTML/CSS and website administration
  • Experience working with a marketing agency
